Norman Sturner is a founding Principal of MHP Real Estate Services and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm. Mr. Sturner has engaged in all aspects of the New York real estate market, including project acquisition, management and brokerage. He is responsible for the firm’s acquisition and disposition activities and has acquired and sold more than 150 properties with an aggregate value of more than 12 Billion dollars. Recently, Mr. Sturner was honored for the fifth year in a row by The Commercial Observer as one of the 100 most powerful people in New York Real Estate. Mr. Sturner is a Board Member of: Real Estate Board of New York, Grand Central Partnership, New York Realty Foundation, Jewish Braille Institute and Association for a Better New York.

During Mr. Knakal’s 34 year career, he has sold over 1,750 buildings having an aggregate market value of over $16 billion. He is a graduate of The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and formed Massey Knakal with Paul Massey in 1988. In 1999, he was named to Crain’s New York Business’s Forty Under Forty/New York Rising Stars list for his outstanding achievement in the New York City business community. He has twice been the recipient of the Robert. T. Lawrence Award in the Real Estate Board of New York’s Most Ingenious Deal of the Year contest. In 2010, he won REBNY’s Louis Smadbeck Broker Recognition Award for Lifetime Achievement in Commercial Brokerage. On December 31, 2014, Cushman & Wakefield acquired Massey Knakal.

Piyush Bhardwaj

Piyush is the Managing Partner at CoInvestment Partners (“CoIP”). Based in NYC, CoIP invests in real estate on behalf of institutional investors of diverse size.  Previously, Piyush was the Head of Transactions and Asset Management for Mubadala Prudential Real Estate Investors (“MPREI”), a joint venture between the strategic investment arm of the Abu Dhabi government and Prudential Real Estate Investors (“PREI”).  Piyush has managed Real Estate Operating Companies in PREIs’ Opportunity Funds.  Piyush spent his early career as part of the PREI Acquisitions Group where he closed over $9 billion in transactions across the risk spectrum.

Mr. Chong is responsible for acquisition and asset management of opportunistic commercial real estate.  Prior to Building and Land Technology, he served as an Executive Director at Five Mile Capital Partners, a private equity fund manager focused on distressed debt and opportunistic commercial real estate investing.  Prior to Five Mile, he served as a Vice President in the Structured Products Group at Morgan Stanley in Tokyo where he was responsible for originating and trading high-yield commercial real estate debt.  Previously, Mr. Chong was with Barclays Capital, Citigroup Property Investors and Fitch Ratings.  Mr. Chong holds a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.

Since its inception in 2008, Sherry Chris has served as President and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC, a lifestyle real estate brand.  Her appointment followed Realogy Franchise Group entering a 100-year agreement with Meredith Corporation, licensing the Better Homes and Gardens name.  Ms. Chris has been featured on national media outlets including Fox Business Channel, CNBC, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, sharing insights into industry reports and trends.  She is the most followed CEO of a national real estate brand on Twitter.

Andrew Chung

Andrew Chung founded Innovo Property Group (IPG) in 2015. Prior to starting IPG, Andrew Chung was a Partner in The Carlyle Group in the U.S. Real Estate Fund. He served as head of the New York office for the Fund for 10 years. He started in the Washington D.C. office in 2000 as an Associate in the Acquisitions Group. Mr. Chung graduated from The Wharton School of Business with a B.S. in Economics. Over his 10-year tenure in NY at Carlyle, Mr. Chung lead the investments of approximately $1.2B dollars of equity in 27 deals.

Mr. Derrick Do is a Senior Vice President, Director of Commercial Real Estate at East West Bank. He leads the commercial real estate portfolio and drives new business development for East West Bank’s Greater New York market. Mr. Do is well-versed in the commercial real estate industry with over 13 years of proven track record in commercial lending, portfolio management and underwriting. Prior to joining East West, Mr. Do served as a Vice President at TD Bank, N.A. and managed a $300 million commercial real estate portfolio in the New York and New Jersey area. He also previously held credit and underwriting positions at Ravenswood Bank.

His clients include real estate developers, construction firms, property management companies, co-op corporations, condominium associations, and residential and commercial building owners and tenants.  He has also represented hundreds of clients in buying, selling, and leasing all types of properties, including co-ops & condominiums, houses, factories, warehouses, retail space and office buildings. He was part of the legal team that assisted a Hong Kong corporation in the purchase of a 65-story (one million square feet) office tower on Wall Street in New York City. Mark has over 28 years of experience in the real estate industry and is widely regarded as an expert in the hotel industry.  Mark recently created Intrinsic Hotel Capital, a value add investment platform designed to acquire existing hotels located in strategic markets throughout the United States that have the combination of in place cash flow and are underperforming and can be enhanced through the combination of operational and physical improvements and aggressive asset management. Mark previously spent 6 years as Managing Partner of Tribeca Associates where he oversaw $1.5 billion of acquisitions and development in Manhattan.

Lawrence Memorial Award) for the sale of 88 Leonard Street.  Ms. Hwang received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Cornell University and holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Investment and Development from New York University.

Fred Huang has over 16 years in the financial services and insurance industry and is the Principal & Manager, Financial Services of Prudential Flushing Branch. Prior to his current position, Fred was a Senior Partner at New York Life and managed a team of 20 producers for 7 years. He also worked for 7 years at MetLife as a top producer and agency sales director. During his career, he won many awards including premier leaders conference awards, top Chinese recruiter awards, and management Chairman’s trophies & roundtable membership awards.

Julie Kang serves as a Senior Managing Director of MHP Real Estate Services. During Ms. Kang’s real estate career, she has represented local and international investors in commercial real estate transactions. Ms. Kang graduated from the University of Hawaii with a BA in Political Science. Michael Kazmierski

Mr. Kazmierski is Principal and Director of Acquisitions for Kaufman New Ventures. He holds a leading position in the sourcing, capitalization, underwriting and management of new acquisition opportunities, which total over $1 billion to-date. Prior to joining the Kaufman Organization, he held positions as Associate Director of Business Development and Analyst at HFF, L.P. in their NY office. As lead analyst, Mr. Kazmierski closed approximately $600 million in transactions including stable and value-add apartments, retail, office and industrial, as well as development transactions. Mr. Kazmierski earned a B.S. and M.S. in Finance from Bentley University, and earned his M.S. in Real Estate Development from MIT.

Lisa Lim is a native New Yorker, and has served as lead counsel on significant large-scale development and capital projects, including Cornell Tech, New York Genome, and the Harlem Children Zone. Prior to joining Akerman LLP as a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group, Lisa was senior counsel at Empire State Development. Lisa has been named as a Super Lawyer for Real Estate for 2015-2017; named in The Legal 500 as an expert in Real Estate and Construction; and recognized by Sokol Media and NYCREW as one of "15 Top Women to Watch in 2015" in Real Estate.

Hung Luk

Hung manages the daily operations of the Lam Group hotel portfolio and serves as head of franchise relations. He is responsible for developing strategic plans for each property in regards to marketing, time management, budgeting and working with the management company to increase return on investment. Hung has been associated with over forty hotel projects with a variety of brands including Starwood Hotels, Marriott Hotels, IHG, Hilton Hotels, Wyndham Hotels, Choice, Best Western, and independent boutique hotels. The Lam Group is currently working on the first VIRGIN Hotel in NYC. Hung is an executive committee member of the Association of Starwood Franchisees & Owners.

Caroline Mahl

Caroline Mahl is Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group where she is responsible for loan originations for the Hospitality Finance Group, managing over $3 billion of project financings for hotel developers, owners and investors.  Projects include portfolio loan financings, and construction financings for large-scale hotel developments including the Gaylord Rockies, Cabana Bay Beach and Sapphire Falls Resorts at the Universal Orlando theme park.

Michael Meyer

Mr. Meyer is President of the F&T Group, a real estate services company with offices in New York and China.  There he has elevated F&T’s profile from an outer-borough real estate developer to an international player by forging partnerships with Rockefeller Development Group and AECOM Capital on their $1B Flushing Commons project and JP Morgan Asset Fund on their World Trade Center in Nanjing, China. Previously Mr. Meyer joined Andersen Consulting in 1999, the world’s largest management consulting and technology-services company, now known as Accenture,   overseeing a $550-million budget and staff of 3400. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an BA in English Literature from Oberlin College.

Jonathan Miller is President and CEO of Miller Samuel Inc., a real estate appraisal and consulting firm he co-founded in 1986.  He is also co-founder of Miller Cicero, LLC, a commercial real estate valuation firm.  He is an Appraiser “A” Member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the current President of RAC, a national organization of appraisers.  Mr. Miller is the author of a series of market reports for Douglas Elliman Real Estate, which are relied on by the media, financial institutions and government agencies including the Federal Reserve and IRS.

Ed is a Managing Director and National Loan Originator at Cantor Commercial Real Estate (CCRE)/ Berkeley Point Capital (BPC) in New York. He originates CMBS for the CCRE platform , and Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD loans for the BPC business line.  Ed joined CCRE in 2012 following a three year stint (2009 to 2012) at Arbor Commercial Mortgage as a Fannie Mae originator. Prior to that he was a CMBS loan originator at Credit Suisse from 1996 to ‎2009. Ed has his Masters in Public Policy from Columbia University ‎and a BA from Knox College

Seth Pinsky

Seth Pinsky is an Executive Vice President at RXR Realty, where he is leading RXR’s efforts to invest in “emerging opportunities” in the New York region. Previously, Pinsky was Director of Mayor Bloomberg’s Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency, which developed a $20 billion plan to protect the City from climate change impacts.  Pinsky also served as President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation from 2008 to 2013. Prior to NYCEDC, Pinsky was an associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and an analyst at James D. Wolfensohn Inc.  He graduated from Columbia College and Harvard Law.

Raj Rajpal is a mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo.  He is being a consultant for over 25 years primarily focused the on residential mortgages.  In his career of over 25 years he has worked extensively with developers, realtors, attorneys and accountants in business development.  In his mortgage career Raj has closed over 15,000 real estate transactions and has been ranked top 1% mortgage originators in the country, 20 years in a row. Raj has Chaired and served on various committees for Women’s Council of Realtors, NYS Builders Association.  He currently serves on multiple committees at NYSAR , SIBOR , FIABCI and AREAA at local and global level.

Laura Yablon Rapaport is a Senior Vice President at L&L Holding Company in Development and Capital Markets. She is head of Capital Raising and Project Director for 425 Park Avenue, a Norman Foster-designed office tower, which will be the first ground-up office building on Park Avenue in nearly half a century. Prior to working at L&L, Ms. Rapaport was a Director in the New York development group at Tishman Speyer Properties and also worked for Lehman Brothers. Prior to this role, Mr. Schwartz was a Managing Director at Dresdner Bank in New York. Mr. Schwartz has also held positions at Chase Securities, Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, and National Westminster Bank in Tokyo. Mr. Schwartz has been investing and lending in New York City real estate for over 15 years.

Min serves as managing partner at Luna advisors which focuses on core real estate investments in US & Europe on behalf of institutional investors based in Asia.  Prior to Luna Advisors, he served as managing partner of Blacksheep Asset management which focused on research and development of various quantitative driven equity investment strategies. Prior to Blacksheep Asset Management, he worked at Bear Stearns Asset Management focusing on credit derivative portfolio management. Min received his MBA from Cornell University and B.A. in Economics from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

He serves as the National President-Elect 2019 for the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA). David Walker

David Walker is the Co-Founder & CEO of TripleMint, a technology-enabled real estate brokerage that is changing the way people buy, sell and rent homes. Prior to founding TripleMint David was the Director of Marketing at tech startup YouRenew.com that was acquired by Clover Wireless. David graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University where he was a national champion rower and served as the Captain of the Yale Lightweight Crew Team. David currently serves on the Board of the Yale Crew Association. David is a lifelong artist who has sold his oil paintings and photographs.

Ace Watanasuparp

Born in New York ,and of Thai and Taiwanese ancestry, Watanasuparp became the first Asian-American in UCONN’s history to walk- on to the prestigious men’s basketball team. Growing up, he worked with his family in their restaurant business, influencing Ace to become an investor in NYC real estate and restaurants himself. He now owns nine successful locations of his tasty eateries. As the VP of Citizens Bank Residential Lending, Ace has expanded into new markets and captured unprecedented market share in purchase financing, as well as refinancing. His esteemed reputation in the industry has attracted talented bankers within the entire region, and is much of the reason behind the financial success at Citizens.

Joe Yiu is the Managing Principal of ElmTree Funds, LLC.  Mr. Yiu has 17 years of real estate experience and has capitalized over $5.0 billion dollars of NNN real estate.  Yiu is a member of the Penn Club of NY, Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center, ICSC, NAIOP, and Advisory Council for Marcus & Millichap. Mr. Yiu has been published in the Journal of Corporate Real Estate and in Briefings in Real Estate Finance.  In 2013, he was included in RE Forum's "45 under 40". Mr. Yiu holds a BS from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
